Amb. Dr Salihu Idris A Nigerian international investor with 30 years of experience in the area of Development, Leadership, Investment, management of people and resources, assessments and change management. 

Dr Salihu Idris, is a fellow member of the institute of professional entrepreneurs & strategic administration of Nigeria, IPESA, he also received an award from the IPESA in recognitions of his contribution to the development of the association.

(Dr) has experience in several development sectors;  has worked as a youth Leader, Mentor, Investor and teacher. As an education advocate for youth and young women he has had the opportunity to work and volunteer in several capacities both for local civil society organizations, regional and international organizations to promote indigenous driven knowledge and capabilities aimed at addressing challenges of development across several sectors.

In pursuance of poverty reduction and enhancing youth and young women livelihood and skills, he sponsored a lot of projects that addressing community women’s boys and girls second chance to education through literacy, skills and entrepreneurship.

Amb. Contributed to the development and implementation of several youth and young women’s programmes in livelihoods, skills, health, Leadership, governance, business start-ups, gender amongst several others since 2017.

Ambassador, is the current Chairman Board of Trustee of west Africa Youth Assembly.  A dynamic and passionate organization committed to uplifting and empowering young people across the region. Through the various initiatives, the association strive to provide youths with the necessary resources, skills, and support to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

The association which was exists to contribute towards the achievement of the objectives of ECOWAS by promoting Mutual collaboration among young people, and working in partnership With States and non-States actors in order to empower the young people of ECOWAS, without distinction of races, ethnic origin, colors, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, languages, religious beliefs or political opinion.

Not only that based on his track record, he was recommended, nominated and appointed in different organization be it political and non political Movement. Such as Sardauna of the Youth of Africa. As well as Sardauna Hausawa Duniya. 

His Skills and competencies include Community mobilization, Communication and Facilitation, Curriculum development, Leadership /Strategy, Security, Negotiation, Ethics, Team building, Multicultural training, Mentoring, Multi-tasking; Report and Proposal writing, Networking, Planning and Analytical skills, Research
